So I'm so bored at home that I decided to cook.
Scramble Eggs and Hot Chocolate.
Looks so fucking good but nopeee... I didn't even finish the scramble egg, it tasted so horrible. There was no taste at all :( First time, I threw away what I cooked. I wasted 2 eggs. Sorry chicken. Okay so anyway time to review the stupid IPL.
Pretty 360
Located at Singapore Shopping Centre. 5th floor. So apparently I bought this package from Street Deal or is it Groupon. Either one. On the website it is stated that Unlimited Brazilian IPL. So what do you think? You thought that it was unlimited right? I called up and they said it meant unlimited shots. And once a month for 1 year.So I thought okay, quite worth it still. I mean 12 times for $$138 is really worth it. For 12 times it usually cost more than $2000? So I went with it.
Made an appointment so I asked if I needed to bring anything down or do anything first? They said no. My mum and my sister bought the vouchers too. So when we went down, and started the treatment, the China Girl was like why didn't you shave? The next time you come if you don't shave, we will charge you. So I'm like okay...
Brazilian IPL meaning that they do it fully, including the inner sides of the pubic area. Not just around it. But she didn't do everything and she was really rude.
That's fine... The second time I came. They kept trying to hard sell during the session which is so unprofessional. And they keep pushing for the a better machine which is more costly saying what it works better and your hair is too thick, even if you do it for 2 years, it won't be effective. She told everyone that -.-'' After we manage to escape this round, the next session was worse.
I went alone this time round cause I was slightly late. Like 15 minutes? But I waited close to 45 minutes, I was so angry cause they kept telling me awhile and they even served those who came after me first. I understand I'm late, I have to pay the price, that's fine but she told me that I had to wait for about 20 minutes only. If you had told me earlier, I could have just cancelled my appointment instead of waiting for so long. And once again, she hard sell throughout the whole session. I said it sounds quite good but I'm a student and I have no money so I used the excuse that my mum is the one making the choice. After the session, when they already wasted so much time, I was asked to go to a room. AGAIN.... Hardselling like mad and I was given a hot tea that is too hot to be drank. After rejecting repetitively, she said okay you can go. I was like what?!! I haven't even drank a sip of tea yet and she sort of like chased me out. Whatever then, I'm thankful that I can finally get out of the place man.
Oh and I forgot to mention that throughout the 3 sessions, they did not cover my eyes with anything and just let me see them doing the whole thing. So I saw what they used. They used wet wipes to clean off the gel after the session and use toilet paper to further clean it. Toilet paper???!!! It was literally those cheapskate kind that could be found in public toilet.
So the 4th session was the best like really, I didn't see any of the hard-sellers there. She told me that I didn't shave enough and even showed me the length I should be shaved. And she was the only one who covered my eyes. The only that didn't hard sell. I don't really know her name cause they don't wear name tags. Once again, unprofessional. And my sister told me yesterday that they kept trying to up-sell her for the better machine and then they were
Oh and the reason why I'm comparing the service level is because I'm doing the Underarm one at Musee. Musee Tokyo Platinum was $99 when I bought 2 years ago. And till now, it is available at the same price. At least it makes you feel better that they don't lower the price. They don't hardsell you at all except on the first session where they just briefly allow you to understand the different packages they have. No pressure at all. They even shave for you. On their posters they said "Let us take care of the areas that you cannot see". They even provide you with a cooling pad after the session so that it won't be so painful for your skin unlike Pretty 360. Hmpffff...
Each time, the 3 of us dread to go to IPL but we have no choice we made full use of it. Thankfully, my mother bought an IPL machine!!! Hehehehehe for like $800 bucks. No more hard-selling after this year.
